Eilene and I have been driving around for about a month looking at houses, and finally found one. I made an offer yesterday, the closing date is tentatively set for October 13th.

I’m buying a house here, I now own a pickup truck, and I have a Texas driver’s license. Now all I need is an atrociously distorted view of religion, God, politics, personal rights, sexuality, interracial relations, and generally how things are anywhere but here, and I’ll officially be a Texas resident.
