I started this site as a few small livejournal entries to document the chance meeting of a new friend. That friendship grew into a relationship, the relationship into a marriage, and marriage into a family built around a son born in 2008. Though I’ve included the 2005 entries into the archives, the site was born sometime in 2006 or 2007 when that soon-to-be wife and I moved in together.

In a lot of ways our family started before that, as our six dogs, two cats, some reptiles and a gay rhino colored our world in more ways than one.

Our photos are hosted by Flickr. Although the site’s photos are obviously publicly viewable, the majority of our photos are viewable only to friends and family. I would encourage you to register an account and add me as a contact.
